A few weeks ago, my parents, brother, aunt, and I took a warm and vibrantly colorful trip to the Virgin Islands. It was humid, hot, and green, the island swarming with tiny colorful birds, donkeys and roosters, and long green iguanas. You could see the immense and blue ocean from nearly everywhere. For a week we swam and hiked, played games and had long conversations. I wrote this on our warm deck towards the end of the trip, the sun already beginning to set.
